The Cedar Shoals High School band had an awesome year! From marching band, to competitions, to school performances the kids were successful and enjoyed the experiences that they had throughout the year. As a band parent, I must say I rather enjoyed listening to the music and watching as they displayed they capabilities as fine young instrumentalists. I must also add that learning about some of the individual students, the director and his support staff (including his wife and brand new baby daughter this year) and other parents make this so much more than just a band. Our director, Dion Muldrow, stated it best when he told the audience that the band is a family. This is a great privilege to have a director that cares for his students and their grades, and to have a band that respects their director as a leader and friend.
